In 2025, my wonderful grandfather passed away from ALS after suffering from the disease for four long years. Although the disease slowly took him from us, he never stopped putting a smile on his face and taking care of his family. He continued to make us laugh, shared his wisdom, and maintained a quiet stoicism that helped all of us feel better in the wake of his disease. Before he departed, he was able to pass on many legacies to his wife, children, and grandchildren. This reminded us all that he will always be an integral part of our lives and, more importantly, will always be with us.

Through this fundraiser I seek to keep his memory alive. Additionally, I want to help fund the research that will help others through this horrible disease. ALS has affected many families, and will continue to do so. So here I fundraise to help anyone else who will have to battle through it and their families during that time.
