I am hoping to walk the full 10 klm to raise money for East Cheshire Hospice In Macclesfield who cared for my dearest husband Mervyn in the last weeks of his life. Put simply, they delivered ‘the gold standard of care’. Medical excellence from their doctors and nurses, attentive gentle care from their carers filled with compassion for both Mervyn and I. This is the start of my saying thank you and to contribute to the cost of running such a special place.
