NEA Baptist Day of Giving · 16 May 2023 ·

In honor of Luke Brodell, who suffered cardiac arrest while at a sports practice and was saved by his coachs quick respronse with an AED, this fund was established to place life-saving AEDs in schools throughout our community.

Story

An AED saved my son, Luke. Without the automated external defibrillator, (AED), he simply wouldn't be here. What a blessing that an AED was available when we needed it the most! Please join us in raising money to donate these life-saving devices to local school systems and throughout our community. 100% of your donation goes to the purchase of an AED.

Your support will ensure that this life-saving device is within reach when it counts!

An AED is used to help those experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. It's a sophisticated, yet easy-to-use, medical device that can analyze the heart's rhythm and, if necessary, deliver an electrical shock, or defibrillation, to help the heart re-establish an effective rhythm. Thanks again for your support!
