Story
My journey with the Y started in 2016 when my employer, NCCI, entered the Y’s Corporate Cup Challenge. This event can basically be described as a giant adult field day that was incredibly executed, well thought-out, and a ton of fun… oh, and my team may have won that year too (cherry on top). Naturally, I was pumped to participate in the Corporate Cup each year. What I didn't know was that all the funds raised by this event directly helped the community. The Y is a not-for-profit organization, and 1 in 3 of its members benefit from financial assistance programs like swimming lessons, summer camps, or just having a safe place to go to after school.
I am proud to say that I joined the Board of Directors of the Peter Blum Family YMCA three years ago. Please consider donating to this amazing campaign to ensure that we can continue to expand the Y's outreach and provide financial assistance for those who need it.
Did you know that…
$50 Scholarships a teen with a month membership to the Y, providing a place for belonging, friendship and achievement.
$150 Allows one special needs child the ability to learn life-saving water safety swim skills through one-on-one lessons.
$250 Provides a month of after-school care filled with learning opportunities and positive role models.
$500 Provides a Cancer Survivor 24 Sessions of LiveSTRONG programming at the Y to re-build a community for improved fitness and quality of life.
