Story
This December, I’m taking on the HYROX challenge to raise money for people living with cancer — a cause that’s incredibly personal to me.
Two years ago, my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. Thankfully, she’s now in remission, but I’ll never forget the fear, uncertainty, and overwhelming emotion we felt during that time. We were lucky to have incredible support around us — something I’ll always be grateful for.
Now, I want to give something back.
HYROX is a tough endurance event — 1km of running followed by a functional workout station, repeated eight times. It’ll be a serious challenge, but nothing compared to what so many people face every day.
I’ve set a fundraising goal of £400, which could fund an hour of Macmillan’s Support Line — a lifeline for people going through the unthinkable, offering comfort, advice, and a listening ear when it's needed most.
Over 3 million people in the UK are living with cancer. Macmillan is there from day one — but they can’t do it without people like us.
If you’re able to support me, in any way, it would mean the world. Thank you — truly — for helping me give back to a cause that means so much. 💚
