Hi, I'm Alexis, and this year I'm taking on the Easter Seals Drop Zone for the second time in honour of my son, Theo.

Theo is an incredible little boy who faces challenges most people will never experience. He lives with complex medical needs, epilepsy, developmental delays, chronic pain, and mobility difficulties. He's mostly non-verbal, has low endurance, and works harder than most of us can imagine to accomplish everyday tasks.

Despite these challenges, Theo approaches life with determination, resilience, and a smile that can light up a room. He inspires me every single day.

Last year, one of my favourite parts of participating in the Drop Zone was having Theo there to cheer me on. He loved watching his mom do something hard, and it was a powerful reminder that courage isn't the absence of fear—it's choosing to move forward anyway. This year, I'm excited to do it again.

As Theo's mom, I've seen firsthand how important accessibility, inclusion, and support programs are for children with disabilities and their families. Easter Seals helps create opportunities for children to participate, connect, and thrive, regardless of the challenges they face.

Theo's life has taught our family to celebrate every milestone, embrace every opportunity, and advocate for a world where every child belongs. That's why I'm proud to support Easter Seals and the important work they do.
