After signing lots of fundraisers up to the SIA's shark dive, I've decided to give it a go myself.

On Friday 7th February I'll be diving with 10- feet long sand tiger sharks, nurse sharks, blacktip sharks, two types of bamboo sharks, stingrays, guitar fish and lots of other (less scary!) fish.

I'm fundraising for the fantastic charity that I've worked for for the last 4 and half years, Spinal Injuries Association. Through specialist services such as the support network team, advocacy, clinical, counselling and campaigning for change, SIA are there to support people affected by life changing spinal cord injury.

Every two hours, a person’s life is changed when they sustain a spinal cord injury (SCI). Their world – and that of their family – is turned upside-down. Spinal cord injury can happen to anyone at anytime, and be caused by accidents, illnesses and health conditions.
