Compassion and comfort for those diagnosed with cancer (and their family) is a very serious and important cause to me. Evan and I spent months in the Lloydminster Hospital watching our mother, Theresa Kragnes, battle the best she could against terminal cancer. The support of every employee of the hospital was one true positive during that time. I also want to highlight during that period, they had a communal room where we could play video games, watch tv, and even hosted a birthday party so mom could attend. My hope has always been that any individual fighting cancer or supporting someone with cancer feels as welcome and comfortable as we did, considering the circumstances.
