Story
Hello friends!
Over ten years ago, I attended my first Beit Halochem presentation here in Monteral, and was truly touched by the amazing work that this organization has done. Beit Halochem supports IDF soldiers wounded protecting Israel. Seeing the annual Beit Halochem presentations, and witnessing first hand the courage and resolve of these IDF soldiers, I was inspired to undertake this bike ride to support them.
I expect it to be more of an emotional , rather than a physical experience, and I am so glad to be participating in this great ride in Israel. The program lasts 5 days on a bike (ouch!) and I'll be riding 60km a day alongside them. I hope to keep up!
As Hillel said: "If not now, then when."
So, any support for Beit Halochem is surely appreciated. And I will tell the Israelis, all about you, each and every one. Thanks for your support.
Please know - any donation you make will go 100% to Beit Halochem and does not subsidize my expenses in any way.

Below is some general information about the Courage in Motion bike ride:
Cycling has become one of the most popular sports offered at leading-edge Beit Halochem Centres across Israel, enabling those without the use of their limbs or eyesight the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. Proceeds from CIM are used primarily towards the purchase of cycling equipment (customized hand-bikes, single, and tandem bicycles), as well as funding the Centres’ cycling programs.
Beit Halochem Canada is committed to rehabilitating, rebuilding, and enhancing the lives of the now-over 64,000 Israeli men and women disabled in the line of duty or through acts of terror.
