London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·

The Brain Tumour Charity's London Marathon team are raring to go and ready to run towards a better future for everyone diagnosed with a brain tumour. We can't wait to take on the 26.2 mile course through the streets of London on Sunday 27 April 2025.

Story

By running for The Brain Tumour Charity, I'm playing a huge part in The Charity's movement to help people with brain tumours live longer and better lives.

Lives get turned upside down by brain tumours. That's what happened to my family. Thankfully John is on the road to recovery after over 3 months in hospital and some further treatment planned. It was a very scary time for us all and I was able to get a lot of information from the charity to help us understand what to expect.

Running a marathon is very much about resilience and mental strength. That's what's needed to complete one and also to get through brain tumour treatment. Im a member of Blackburn Road Runners. The club is close to MGS Technical Plastics and John is the company chairman. It seemed fitting to do something running related and keep things positive for us and other close friends affected by brain tumours.
