Story
I’m taking on the ultimate fitness challenge – HYROX – to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
This October I’ll be competing at HYROX Birmingham in the Men’s Solo, followed by HYROX London in December where I’ll team up with Maria for the Mixed Doubles. It’s a brutal test of fitness: 8 x 1km runs mixed with 8 workout stations – sled pushes, burpees, wall balls, and more. Every rep, every step, will be for a bigger purpose.
For me, this challenge is about more than just fitness. Cancer has affected my family directly – my niece was diagnosed with leukaemia last year. Watching the strength and fight of those closest to me has been inspiring, and I want to do my part to help. Macmillan is an incredible charity that supports people living with cancer and their families with physical, emotional, and financial help. No one should face cancer alone, and Macmillan makes sure they don’t have to.
Our family team is aiming to raise £2,400. Every single donation – big or small – will make a difference and help Macmillan continue their amazing work. Your support will keep me going through every run, sled push and wall ball.
Please give what you can and share our journey. Together, we can help Macmillan support more families like mine.
Thank you 🙏
