Almost Home Kids (AHK) is a unique facility providing a bridge from hospital to home through an innovative community-based care system for children with medical complexities. AHK responds to the needs of families, trains caregivers, offers respite care, advocates for accessibility and inclusion and educates healthcare professionals.

Financed in part by private funds from community supporters, business leaders and philanthropists, AHK saves the State, the City and the Taxpayer over $10 Million per site in Medicaid expense savings each year, amounting to over $30million per year across three sites (Naperville, Chicago and Peoria).
