The Help the Hungry team has decided to cancel our Gala Dinner - we could not ‘celebrate’ while we witness history in the making. Our project objective at its core is to provide food assistance to those most need, and right now that need is in Palestine

With that said we have decided to make our dinner on Sunday, November 5 at 5 PM at Crystal fountain a fundraiser to raise money for food assistance for the civilian suffering in Gaza– Helping Humanity, A Night for Gaza’

-Thousand of deaths

-Several thousand of those being children

-Tens of thousands of injuries

-No water

-No gas

-No power

-No food

-A lack of Medical supplies

The numbers are only rising with no end in sight in this shameful moment of history.

There’s no way to emphasize the scale of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. We are all helplessly, seeing and sharing the images and videos of civilians in Palestine suffering in at an unimaginable magnitude, but we are not helpless let’s come together and do whatever we can to help.

‘Helping Humanity, A Night for Gaza’ will be a night to come together, share in our grief, do a collective dua, and raise funds to be the change in the lives of those who need it most. This fundraiser will allow IDRF to act swiftly when the possibility presents itself.

IDRF has been in the region for over 30 years and has worked with trusted partners on the ground who have been able to navigate complex situations in the past to get resources to where they are needed. There are currently water trucks, water, wells, and food being distributed by IDRF teams on the ground , but resources are depleting. With the funds we collect at our event, IDRF will distribute food and water to the civilians in Gaza.
