The legal landscape is shifting—and not in our clients’ favor. At Her Justice, we see how harmful policies are clouding our clients’ futures — but we’re not looking away. We deliver $40M in free legal services to protect women in poverty each year.

Story

As many of you know, Her Justice is an organization that is near and dear to my heart. Her Justice serves women living in poverty in NYC, many of whom are victims of domestic violence, who need help with matrimonial, family, immigration issues. Her Justice partners with law firms to mobilize the power of pro bono legal work to deliver nearly $45 million in free legal services annually.

I’ve worked with Her Justice since I was a summer associate at Akin and in the (many) years since, I’ve represented dozens of women and now supervise the many associates at Akin who work on Her Justice cases every day. I’m also on the Her Justice Junior Advisory Board and in that role, I’m committed to raising both awareness of this incredible organization, and the funds to help make HJ’s mission successful.

Every gift funds a turning point — your impact can be extraordinary. Will you give the gift of justice?
