As I lace up my running shoes this time for the Dublin Marathon 2024, I am reminded of the staggering statistics that haunt the lives of many families in the UK & Ireland. Each week, over 30 children are diagnosed with cancer, and tragically, 1 in 8 do not survive. This is why I have committed to running every mile for #TeamCCLG. By joining this marathon, I hope to raise funds that will support vital research and information dissemination, ultimately leading to quicker diagnosis and more effective treatments. Together, we can shape a future where every child diagnosed with cancer survives to live a happy, healthy, and independent life.
