Supporting Our Royal Navy & Royal Marines Families

On 5th July, I’ll be stepping out - quite literally - of my comfort zone by abseiling down the iconic Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth.

But the real reason for this challenge goes far beyond the view.

I’m doing this to raise money for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) - a cause close to my heart and deeply rooted in the city we call home.

Portsmouth lives and breathes its Royal Navy heritage. At Eco Drift, the cleaning company I founded here over a decade ago, we’re proud to be a Bronze Armed Forces Covenant Employer. We currently employ people whose partners or family members serve in the Navy - so this isn’t just symbolic, it’s personal.

Recorded bedtime stories for children separated from a parent on deployment,

To mental health support, crisis funding, and help for veterans and families in need.

It’s not the first time I’ve abseiled - but never from that height. And while it’s just one small descent for me, together we can make a meaningful difference for those who serve and the families who serve alongside them.
