"Some of our best moments were those when we visited refugee families in their homes. We would take groceries to bless them and then we would sit and talk to them about coming to Greece, their homeland, their families, their faith. The refugee families were always welcoming to us (sometimes serving us tea!) and their stories of hope were inspiring. We visited families from Afghanistan, Iran, Ukraine, and Egypt!"

"I think my favorite part of the trip is seeing the growth of our GAC students. They develop friendships that they would not have back at school, they step outside their comfort zones to get to know refugee families, and they deepen their relationship with God. There is a lot of time for this group to be together and the laughing, the joking, the fun times are really special."
