Snow? Ha, the pizza oven hits 450 C without melting snow. Seriously, the weather won't be a problem. And because you are awesome we have raised our target. Join us in a fundraising celebration of CKUA , great music and wood fired pizza.

We built a pizza oven years ago, and love to share. We have donated an hour to CKUA. Our goal is to more than double that by offering handmade (by you) wood fired pizza to people who donate via this page. Make a tax deductible donation and a request, both via Just Giving, build and enjoy a pizza. We will also have a big request board beside the pizza oven for in person requests. We will compile the requests, give them all to Keri Rak, and then wait for the Great Backyard Bounty Wakeup Shakeup Takeover in a few weeks. UPDATE - May 2nd we take the show over!!

CKUA provided our soundtrack when we built the pizza oven (and repaired it last summer during the July monsoon). It has been the centre of a lovely little Snowdon Crescent food based social scene, with everything from back alley potlucks to random excess cheese sharing.

We have no idea how this will go or how long dough will last. Rain or shine (back yard or garage). Show up, plan to have fun and enjoy the campfire and likely chaos. BYOB, we always have assorted non-alcoholic drinks.
