I'm supporting Operation Backpack, because I believe that every child deserves an opportunity to succeed. There are many families across Maryland, DC and Virginia who struggle to provide their children fresh backpacks, school supplies and school uniforms each year. Having these things can really boost the confidence of a child on their first day of school.
