Event: The Twilight Walk London 2024, on 23 March 2024
In memory of Mike Barnes
This iconic walk will see the community unite to take strides through the Capital, as we reflect, remember and raise awareness of brain tumours. Together, we can lead the way in accelerating cures and helping those diagnosed live longer and better.

Story

A year ago we lost the wonderful Mike Barnes to cancer.

To celebrate his life and support his amazing family, we will be walking 5km through central london on the evening of Saturday 23rd March.

Any donation you can spare for The Brain Tumour Charity who are organising the event would be very much appreciated.

Better still, if you would like to join us for the walk - and the celebratory food and drink that will follow - then please contact us at Alexander.B.Turnbull@Gmail.com.

The walk will be very family friendly, stewarded all the way and start at 3pm. As the organisers put it, “Setting off from Marylebone, you will take in beautiful twilight views of some of London’s most famous locations, including Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey.”

Mike signed up for this walk in 2022 but was not able to participate as his condition worsened. So we are going to do it for him and “Be More Mike” in 2024!
