“I joined Girl Scouts as a Daisy when I was 5 years old. In the beginning, I wanted to be that girl selling cookies and I wanted to make new friends.

As I got older, balancing school, family, and activities was tough, but my troop stayed determined to earn the Bronze and Silver Awards.

Together, we faced challenges, found solutions, and reached our goals.

Inspired by my brother with cerebral palsy, I went on to earn my Gold Award by advocating for wheelchair-accessible airplanes at local, state, and national levels.

Girl Scouts gave me the confidence and platform to find my passion, use my voice, and make the world a better place.”
