Having spent 40 years in the affordable housing industry, when I was asked to join the Indian River Habitat for Humanity Board this past year, it was an easy decision. I felt I could help to make a difference for our community.

To that end, I am very excited to be a part of this year's initiative to raise $80,000 for Women Build 2026. I believe the goal can not only be achieved but surpassed! Surprisingly, 76% of households in Indian River County are women led! Let's step up and help those who don't own their home!
