Blake Redmond is a Huntsville native, Madison County High School graduate, and proud alumnus of the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where he earned his Master’s Degree. He has worked locally in the construction field since high school. In 2018, Blake founded Redmond Construction Company LLC. For the past ten years, he has completed all construction work at the Huntsville Botanical Garden, helping shape the spaces visitors enjoy today.

His local project experience includes work with UAH, United Launch Alliance, the Von Braun Center, Monte Sano State Park, The Westin at Bridge Street, Redstone Federal Credit Union, the Space & Rocket Center, Big Spring Park’s Traveler II, John Hunt Park, Yellowhammer Brewery, and Lockheed Martin.

Blake is also an active supporter of the Huntsville Botanical Garden, regularly visiting with his family, attending the annual Soirée, and making Galaxy of Lights a yearly tradition. His children, Rex and Cecilia, have enjoyed field trips and summer camps at the Garden, further strengthening his family’s connection to this community treasure.
