As you may or may not know, the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program (BMTCT) at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC continues to grow. With this growth, we are encountering more and more families that are forced to travel long distances to ensure that their child receive the care that we provide. Due to the extensive and complicated long-term care that these children receive, their families often undergo many financial, emotional, and social hardships. With your help, our team would like to lessen this burden for our patients and their families.
