Story

Help Me Support Macmillan Cancer Support

Why I'm Raising Money

Cancer affects millions of lives every year, and Macmillan Cancer Support is there to help individuals and families navigate through one of the toughest challenges they'll ever face. They provide essential medical, practical, emotional, and financial support to those living with cancer and their loved ones, ensuring no one has to go through it alone. I, like many others, have witnessed first-hand the impacts cancer can have on a family, with close friends, old and young, having battled this dreadful disease.

To help Macmillan continue their vital work, I'm undertaking three major challenges over the next year. Your generous support will not only motivate me to reach my goals but, more importantly, will provide much-needed funds to an incredible organization.

The Challenges

1. Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro – October 2024

I'll be starting my journey with an epic ascent of Mount Kilimanjaro. At 5,895 meters, Kilimanjaro is the highest peak in Africa, and the climb will be a true test of endurance, strength, and determination.

2. Running the TCS London Marathon – April 2025

I will be culminating my fundraising efforts by running the iconic TCS London Marathon. This 26.2-mile race through the streets of London will be a true testament to my commitment to this cause and a chance to push myself to the limit for those who need it most.

How You Can Help?

Your donation, no matter how big or small, will make a significant difference. By contributing to my fundraising page, you're directly supporting Macmillan Cancer Support and their mission to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

- £10 could help run our cancer information and support centers, giving people affected by cancer the chance to ask questions and talk to others.

- £50 could help fund a Macmillan nurse for an hour, providing invaluable support to patients and their families.

- £100 could help run a small support group for a day, bringing people with cancer together to share experiences and get support.

Together, we can ensure that Macmillan Cancer Support continues to provide hope, guidance, and care to those who need it most.

Thank you in advance for all your generous donations and support!
