Hello family, friends and colleagues thank you for taking time to visit this page.

You may know I had a mad moment and signed up to do Legs 7 & 8 of the Clipper 2023-24 Round the World Yacht Race and will race over 10,000 nautical miles from the west coast of the USA and back home across the Atlantic. A slight stretch for someone who gets seasick and didn’t know how to sail back in 2020. To add to the challenge, we will have the joy of no showers for 40 days on Leg 7 in temperatures up to 32 DegC!

I would be thrilled if this mad adventure of mine also raises some much-needed funds for UNICEF as part of Team Qingdao. We appreciate the cost of living has gone up and money is tight for everyone but if you could forfeit a cup of coffee, a beer or a luxury to support my team’s fundraising efforts for UNICEF that would be incredible, much appreciated and make my challenge even more memorable.
