Story
The Snowmobile Ride-In to benefit Pine Tree Camp began in 1974 with a handful of snowmobile clubs riding into Newport for a weekend of events to support Pine Tree Camp, a summer camp for Maine children and adults with disabilities. Over the past 50 years, the event has raised nearly $5 million, translating into thousands of lives transformed by the Pine Tree Camp experience.
Pine Tree Camp provides year-round fully accessible programming to keep Maine people with disabilities engaged, active and outdoors. No camper, or family, is ever turned away due to their inability to pay.
This "open-door" policy which ensures that no camper is turned away due to their inability to pay is made directly possible by events like the Dysart's Celebrity Egg Ride. Every dollar raised goes towards camper tuition, ensuring accessibility for all. Make a pledge today to ensure that Pine Tree Camp can continue to transform the lives of Maine people with disabilities
