I have been a lifelong avid exerciser. Thanks to my youngest daughter, a high school cross country and track athlete, I have focused recently on running. After being a Montefiore Cardiologist for 21 years, what better way to give back to the community than to run a race with the Montefiore bib, to raise money for CHAM. I will be running the NYC half marathon on Sunday March 16th.

Money raised by the Champion for CHAM marathon runners will benefit the most vulnerable children from the Bronx by providing the highest quality care for complex and life-threatening medical conditions. Our teams strive to give children the opportunity to lead active and healthy lives and realize their full potential. Today, CHAM is the only pediatric hospital in the Bronx and the largest provider of healthcare for children from the nation’s poorest urban community.
