Story
One in two Canadians will face a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime — a number that’s hard to ignore because it touches every one of us.
My story is all about time, I never really had a good relationship with my father my whole life growing up. It wasn't until 2018 that I went for a trip to cape scott on Vancouver island and to get there I had to pass though my Fathers town so I stopped for the Oblitory 1 hour lunch... However, that day everything changed and we ended up having a really good chat and agreed to work harder at having a better relationship. We did pretty well until 2019 when Covid hit and before Covid was over my father had contracted cancer and died... I never really had the time to fix what we agreed to fix.
Your support means better access, faster diagnoses, and more time with the people we love.
Please give if you can-- because cancer hits close to home, and so should the care.
