Snowdon Numnuts’ Part III
We did it! Another challenge completed even if we didn’t set a new world record.
The event was so well organised and we had supporters cheering us on all along the route. It seemed a lot more uphill than we expected but worth the effort even it did take us nearly 7 hours.
The final 200m to the finish line felt like we all deserved the yellow jersey, the cheers, the high fives and family at the end made us believe we were the Dons, a major upgrade from the Numnuts.
A few achy limbs, joints and possible other sites… no need to mention, lucky we’ve had our kids already! Numnuts is probably the most apt name for us for the next few days.
We all want to thank everyone for their kind and generous donations, we were so well supported and it helps push us through the tough parts right up to the end for such a great cause.
Every year we want make a difference, no matter how small and your donations keep driving us on!
We’ll be back next year, thank you all once again
