Story
I’m running the NYC Marathon this November in support of Tina’s Wish, an organization dedicated to funding research for ovarian cancer. Running this marathon is both a personal challenge and a commitment to honor my grandmother by actively contributing to a future with better outcomes for women at risk.
My grandmother, Jacqueline Staff, passed away at 50 from ovarian cancer. Although I never met my grandmother, her presence is felt in stories of her warmth, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family and faith. My dad was just 10 when she passed around Christmas, a reminder of how deeply this disease impacts individuals and generations.
Ovarian cancer remains one of the deadliest cancers affecting women. About 80% are diagnosed at an advanced stage. Through Tina’s Wish, critical research is being funded to advance early detection and change this reality. I hope you will consider joining me in contributing to this cause.
