Twelve years ago, I walked into the YMCA searching for one simple thing: a safe, nurturing place for our son to attend preschool. What I discovered was so much more than a program, I discovered a caring community that has supported my family and changed my life in ways I never imagined.

I joined the Devos-Blum board 11 years ago to help give back to an organization that gives so much to others. Over time, this same environment also supported my own health journey, encouraging me to make positive changes and reclaim my well-being. For that, I am deeply grateful.

The YMCA is more than a facility it is a lifeline for children, families, and neighbors throughout our community. Through early childhood education, youth sports, swim lessons, and after-school care, the Y creates opportunities for people to grow, learn, and thrive. And because 100% of every dollar stays local, every gift directly strengthens the lives of people right here at home.
