Story
The start of a new school year is full of possibilities, and at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana, the learning doesn’t stop when the school bell rings. Every afternoon, our Cedar Lake Club opens its doors to give kids a safe place to discover who they are and who they can become.
Right now, 1 in 5 children are unsupervised after school. The most dangerous time for youth is between 2:00-6:00 p.m. while parents are still at work. That’s why high-quality afterschool programs are not just helpful, they’re essential. At our Club, kids find caring mentors and exciting opportunities that spark curiosity and build confidence. From our STEM lab and art room to our education room and gym, there’s something for very child to explore.
This September, you can help fuel their journey.
During our Return to Learn Campaign from September 1–30, every dollar you give will go twice as far. Thanks to the generosity of the University of Chicago Medicine, all donations will be matched dollar for dollar up to $100,000. Together, we can ensure more kids have the tools, support, and inspiration they need to thrive, today and into the future. Please support us today so we can keep our doors open for our youth tomorrow.
Your impact. Their future.
