Story
Unfortunately, due to health reasons still being dealt with, Ceres has had to pull out of the marathon. However, close friend and avid runner Sam Nicholson has agreed to step in and take her place. Josh and Sam have been running both together and separately in preparation for the big day which is only 2 weeks away now!!!
On 27th April 2025, both of us will be running the London Marathon. We are doing this in memory of Ceres’ friend Alex Bryant who passed from Leukaemia in March last year, and Josh’s grandmother Brenda who we lost unexpectedly in January to multiple myeloma.
We are running in aid of Anthony Nolan, a world-leading stem cell register, groundbreaking in cell and gene therapy research and experts in stem cell transplants. By matching patients everyday in need of a transplant, they are giving people another chance to live. Driven by patients, backed by stem cell donors, powered by science, and with your support, they won’t stop until they've uncovered the lifesaving potential of the cells inside us all, and every patient can survive and thrive.
