I'm raising money for MAX Ottawa Community Health!

MAX Ottawa has been working to improve the health and wellbeing of 2SLGBTQIA+ people in the National Capital Region for over 20 years. As a community-based organization with a history in the HIV response, MAX is on the ground, meeting community members where they’re at, and offering social and support services, information, and referrals that meet their needs.

Join us at the Tamarack Race Weekend to fundraise for some new, exciting programs like the expansion of GayZone and new mental health supports!

As our community’s needs have changed and adapted, so have we. In the last year, we provided 644 essential health services referrals for harm reduction and addiction support, HIV/STI testing, PrEP/PEP access, and mental health. Our programs ran stronger than ever, our health services expanded, and we implemented several initiatives–like the List–to support and amplify the wellbeing of our community.
