TCS London Marathon 2025 - Team Mind

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
Welcome to my fundraising page! I'm Christie, and I’m honoured to be running in the 2025 London Marathon in support of Mind, a charity that’s incredibly close to my heart. Mental health is something that affects us all, and I’m passionate about making sure everyone has access to the support they need.
Like many, I’ve faced my own mental health challenges, and these experiences have taught me just how crucial it is to have access to the right resources and a strong support system. Unfortunately, mental health issues are often misunderstood or overlooked, and I’ve felt this acutely within my own family, where differing beliefs and values left me to navigate these challenges largely on my own. But I was fortunate to find unwavering support in my chosen family—my closest friends—who became my pillars of strength when I needed it most.
Mind is on a mission to change the way society views and handles mental health, ensuring that no one has to face their struggles alone. Their work is transformative, and I’m passionate about supporting their cause. By running this marathon, I’m not just challenging myself physically—I’m also committed to giving back and helping others who may not have the support they need. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that mental health resources are available to everyone.
I’ve committed to raising £2,200 for Mind, and I’m excited to take on this challenge. Every donation, no matter the size, will help support Mind’s vital work in advocating for mental health, providing essential services, and challenging stigma.
Your support means the world to me. Whether it’s through a donation, sharing this page with your friends and family, or simply offering words of encouragement, every bit helps. I’ll also be organising a series of fundraising events, both virtual and in-person, to help reach my goal, so stay tuned for updates!
Thank you for visiting my page and for your generosity. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those struggling with mental health issues. Let’s challenge the stigma and ensure that everyone has the support they need.
