As a loving mother and homemaker, I often wonder how I can help create a safe, beautiful home for children and families in need.

For my birthday this year, I'm partnering with A Sense of Home to create a home for a young mother who grew up in foster care. Please join me to stop the cycle of abandonment that is often caused by hopelessness and homelessness. Your support will enable us to transform empty rooms with bare walls, into a fully furnished, functional place of joy for a deserving young mother. WE CAN MAKE THIS MAGICAL EXPERIENCE A REALITY!

I remember my first apartment; my mom bought me so many things, helped me move, stocked my fridge, made it a home, everything a loving mother does for her child when they move out. I can't imagine aging out of foster care and being completely alone. Although, many of the young ladies in this program have children already, teen pregnancy is just another part of the foster child cycle. So picture this; no family, no place to go, no safe childcare, and the responsibility to raise this child the best you can regardless of the circumstances.

This person needs help. Needs love that she may have never received before.
