Having lost my mum suddenly to a stroke in May last year it broke my heart and left a massive void, for myself and all of our family.

We always expected that she would be in our lives for years and be their to watch all her grandkids grow up and be there to share in their future and successes.

It was truley devastating and heartbreaking, however the staff at the stroke unit at Royal Stoke Hospital were incredible and I feel this is I great way to give something back.
