Story
I'm racing in the 2023-2024 Clipper Round the World Yacht Race and UNICEF is the Charity Partner for the race. To support their vital work for children, all the crews from all boats are fundraising as part of the experience.
Much like setting out to sail around the world (a push beyond my physical comfort zone), I set an ambitious fundraising goal (to push myself in other ways).

It's also worth noting here that although I did pay to be part of this race... not one penny (British or American) of your donations go toward my entrance fees. 100% go to UNICEF and their work.
UNICEF ensures more of the world's children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organization. In 190 countries and territories UNICEF works to save children's lives, to defend their rights, and to help them fulfill their potential, from early childhood through adolescence. That's pretty awesome.
