Since 2010, Closer to Home’s Adopt-a-Family initiative has brought hope and holiday joy to vulnerable families in Calgary and area. We are proud to announce, THE GIVING COLLECTIVE 2025! This year, Coalition Health Group, Vital Performance Care, Coven Health Collective, Method Fitness YYC, Eau Claire Athletic Club and Home Lifestyle club are joining forces to make that hope a reality for several specific YYC families—and we're inviting you to join us in several fundraising events and/or simply donate!

Here are our fundraising events this holiday season:

1. Method Fitness YYC presents "Train the Trainer" - Friday November 14th, 2025 from 5-7 PM.

2. Coven Health Collective presents "The Giving Tree - Donate to Decorate" - November 17 to December 20th, 2025.

3. Vital Performance Care x Eau Claire Athletic Club presents "Climb for a Cause" - Wednesday December 10th, 2025 from 2-6 PM.

4. Home Lifestyle Club (details coming soon!)

5. Donate, no strings attached ... if you can't attend (we get it, the holidays are busy!)

Your donation will provide gift cards to parents, caregivers, and children, giving them the most meaningful gift of all—choice. Families can buy essentials like diapers and groceries, or choose special gifts to brighten the holidays.

A portion of each gift supports Closer to Home’s Community Fund, helping families year-round, and covers essential program costs so every dollar makes a real difference.

When we reach our goal, we’ll be matched with a family and share a glimpse into their journey—so we can see the lives we’ve touched together.
