Story
This time 2 years ago I suffered a catastrophic stroke. It left me paralysed on my right side, I was unable to do many things including walk. The road to recovery continues and this October I’m challenging myself to walk 60 miles. This will be a massive challenge for me but I’m determined to do it.

When my stroke struck, part of my brain shut down. Life changed instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt.
The Stroke Association is one of many charities offering specialist support and research. This is only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, they can rebuild even more lives.
