Summer Search is a national youth development organization that, for 30 years, has been breaking down barriers and fighting for equity for young people of color. Through our intensive, multi-year process, we help lead families and communities to thrive.

We focus on bridging the educational opportunity gap faced by students from low-income backgrounds, particularly students of color. We partner with high schools and families in underserved communities to provide students with the resources they need to reach their highest potential. Through a unique combination of mentoring, experiential opportunities, college advising, and support, Summer Search students strengthen the skills they need to thrive in school and in life.

I have a strong connection to Summer Search due to my belief in the transformative power of education and mentorship. Having witnessed firsthand the challenges that students from low-income backgrounds and communities of color face, I am passionate about supporting initiatives that aim to level the playing field and provide these students with opportunities to succeed.
