18 months ago, our friend and fellow Cumnor Jaguars parent, Georgie, was diagnosed with Glioblastoma (GBM), an aggressive brain cancer.

A group from the Cumnor Jaguars U10 Girls football team and their families are taking part in a special 5k walk through the beautiful bluebells found in our local area on the 27th April to support Georgie in raising much needed money and awareness for The Brain Tumour Charity.

GBMs receive only a fraction of the funding dedicated to other cancers. They urgently need more resources, investigators, investment, understanding, and desperately need more funding. We are raising funds under The Maynards Supporter Group, which has been specifically set up to fund research into high grade brain tumours via the Brain Tumour Charity.
