Story
This June, I’ll be joining an incredible team to summit Mount Tahoma (Rainier) as part of Climb for a Cause, an effort dedicated to supporting the Washington National Parks Foundation (WNPF). Our goal isn’t just to reach the summit, it’s to ensure that Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks continue to thrive for generations to come.
WNPF plays a vital role in preserving these extraordinary places by filling critical gaps in infrastructure, maintenance, and essential programs that keep our parks safe, accessible, and awe-inspiring. Their work helps maintain the trails we hike, the campgrounds we rely on, and the ecosystems that make Washington’s national parks some of the most treasured landscapes in the country.
For me, this mission is deeply personal. After living in Seattle for the past ten years, I’ve developed an immense appreciation for the parks and wild spaces that surround us. They’ve provided me an outlet. One that offers solace, challenge, and a connection to nature that’s hard to match anywhere else. These parks have shaped my life here in Washington, and this climb is my way of giving something meaningful back.
By supporting this effort, you’re not just helping me reach the summit, but you’re helping protect the experiences, the beauty, and the legacy of Washington’s national parks. Every contribution makes a real difference.
Thank you for being part of this journey and for helping preserve the places that inspire us all.
