Story

Hello everyone!

This summer I will be undertaking a two-week expedition in the Himalayas from Kathmandu to Everest Base Case. The trip will involve roughly 112km of hiking, reaching an elevation of 5645m above sea level.

This trip aims to raise funds and support the work of WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature), a charity which has done considerable work for the conservation and protection of many endangered species around the world, as well as providing education and support to surrounding communities.

In Nepal, WWF is responsible for the conservation of large parts of the Chitwan Annapurna Landscape, a region threatened by illegal poaching, loss of habitat and natural disasters. To combat this, many protected areas such as the Chitwan Safari Park have been established. These areas are home to several critically endangered species such as the Snow Leopard, Bengal Tiger, and Red Panda. Their work has protected these species from extinction and helped to provide jobs and aid to the over 4.5 million inhabitants of the region.

Every donation made will directly support WWF and help me to complete this journey. Any support would be greatly appreciated!
