Although I can’t be at the CP Nassau 5K this year, I’m still committed to raising funds in honor of my sister, Theresa. She was four years younger than me, and her memory continues to inspire the work we do through Theresa’s Fun Place — the fully accessible playground at the Children’s Learning Center on CP Nassau’s Roosevelt campus.

This playground gives over 250 students of all abilities the chance to play, learn, and connect in a safe, inclusive space. Supporting it helps keep Theresa’s spirit alive while also furthering CP Nassau’s mission to empower children and adults with disabilities to reach their highest level of independence.
