In memory of Dave Peirson—a dedicated father, coach, and community volunteer—we invite you to help create a legacy that honours the values he lived by.

Dave passed away in 2010, but the love, strength, and selflessness he showed as a parent continue to guide his children. In his honour, they are launching the Dave Peirson Memorial Bursary—a way to keep his spirit alive by supporting others who embody the same unconditional love and commitment to their families.

Each year, this bursary will be awarded to a parent living at Regina’s Place, Good Shepherd's transitional housing program for young parents and their children. Like Dave, the recipient will be someone who puts their children first and loves them unconditionally. This bursary will provide financial support as they pursue post-secondary education.

This is how Dave’s children are choosing to carry his legacy forward—by helping another parent build a strong, hopeful future for their family. We are grateful for your support in helping us honour his memory and uplift a parent who’s working hard to create a brighter future for their child.
