In memory of Emma Warden, Judy D'Cruz and Tim Desson. Thinking of Graham Wood.
This iconic walk will see the community unite to take strides through the Capital, as we reflect, remember and raise awareness of brain tumours. Together, we can lead the way in accelerating cures and helping those diagnosed live longer and better.

Story

Here we go again!

The lovely people at The Brain Tumour Charity reached out to Grace in 2014 when she was first diagnosed with a Grade one Pilocytic Astrocytoma.

After 2 major operations a year apart and a 6 week course of radiotherapy in 2015, Grace is now stable and well.

Since then we have raised funds, attended events, been guests of honour at celebration evenings (Grace won the Influencer of the Year award at the first Celebrating You Awards Ceremony 2018), been involved in promotional videos and stories, walked in and volunteered at 4 Twilight Walks in Windsor, last year's Twilight Walk in London and been generally loved and cared for by the wonderful people at the charity.

We are delighted to be walking again this year. The event is so well organised and such a happy experience.

Again this year we will be remembering our friends Emma Warden and Judy D'Cruz who have died from this awful disease. Now also thinking of our dear friend Graham Wood who is receiving palliative care.

Brain tumours are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under the age of 40. We believe that fighting brain tumours on all fronts of research, awareness and support is the only way to save lives, reduce long-term disabilities and to help everyone affected by a brain tumour. We need your help because a cure can't wait.
