I'm proud to be running in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ottawa as part of the seoplus+ Run Club in this year’s Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend!

This cause is personal for me. When my dad was four, he lost his father. He’s told me many times how much he wished he’d had a positive male role model - someone to take him to baseball games, teach him how to fish, and just be there.

At 20, he became a Big Brother himself, giving those experiences to someone else. He went hunting and to sporting events with his Little Brother - creating the kind of bond he always wished he had.

Now I’m doing my part to support that same mission. I’ve joined other runners to raise critical funds so Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ottawa can continue matching mentors with kids who need them most.
