For five days, my JLW colleagues will be harnessing the power of Social Media to raise awareness of homelessness and housing insecurity in our community, and highlight how we can all make a tangible difference in our community.

Funds raised during this week will go directly back into the Greater Washington, DC region through our Community Assistance Grants, which award up to $5,000 to DC-area nonprofits addressing housing insecurity and supporting those who are unhoused.

My goal for this week: $1,800 -- because 18 represents chai (life) and together we can change 1,000 lives!! Any and all donations to LBDI make a difference in our community. Help us achieve our goal of raising $40,000, or 8 grants, through this week-long campaign November 13 - 17!
